It seems that I've confused the happy blog readers by permanently posting the "Tour de Cure" info at the top of my blog. Many have confessed to feeling foolish that they didn't realize they needed to scroll down for updates. Frankly, I am reassured as I have had a depressing number of comments, especially on the spider!! Come on, I know all you Az. people have big ones, but this is Wa. While I cannot reassure you that you are not foolish, I can reassure you that you are in good company....

Ha! I've refrained from commenting on that spider because every time I scroll down that far, it just gives me the heebie jeebies. I can do without them that size and fuzziness. I thought the black widows were bad when we were living back in AZ last year! I felt peace of mind thinking I didn't have to deal with spiders like that anymore...so thanks for unsettling my fears!
Hi! Thanks for coming to see us a while back. (I've recently updated my blog and active.com blog; come back again!) You mentioned you used to live in AZ--were you born there? (I was born in Phoenix.) I checked out your parents' blog, and found a website about their town--don't know if I was ever there or not. (I went on a countless trips with my parents while growing up, but some of the trips when I was really little I don't really remember.)
I've been trying to figure out where you live now in WA. Before you visited, I had run across your blog and thought you lived in Australia! Willapa Cool Cats seems to be a clue. I like the Willapa Bay area--went through there on the way back from a camping trip to OR a few years ago, and would like to go back and spend more time there.
Wish I could join you for the Tour De Cure, but I already have plans on May 17th. We're going camping at Bayview State Park up by Anacortes, and I plan to participate in a 10K run (Bayview Women's Run). Good luck with the ride! -S.
I have to admit the spider kind of freaked me out. I don't want to know they get that big up there. Seriously, that is disgusting. Almost as bad as a trantula, which I have seen here in Tucson. I have been seeing your blogs but just have not commented. I love the photo at the top.
