Hey Ho Happy blog readers! We are hanging in here. Brian has enjoyed his new job, and the Wenatchee area. We are hanging in without him. The kids are getting a kick out of calling Ryland the "Man of the House". Man of the house duties include, but are not limited to, unclogging toilets. It is Brian's greatest regret that we didn't choose to install the home depot toilet that claims to be able to flush "sixteen golf balls".

This summer we went to the zoo. We found the otters in the goat cage, monkeys in the jaguar's cage, and all other sorts of "switches". The zoo started the program to provide stimulation and relief from boredom. The animals were very alert and curious. Grocery shopping a couple weeks later, we passed a sale of seriously sugary cereals. My eye was caught
because it was mini-chocolate-chip-cookie cereal. Chocolate chip cookies for cereal? Not for this whole foods Mom. I turned to tease my kids and saw their eyes (quite like the cereal) had glazed over. Then I recalled the cavorting otters diving into the goat trough, and I realized that mixing it up once in a while was fun! We could have chocolate chips for breakfast.
Switch it up!
'til next post.

P.S. The end consensus was that this cereal was disgusting.
