Caden did indeed have two baby teeth extracted. This
experience turned out to be harder than we expected. For one, the laughing gas did not make
Caden feel like laughing... at all... he felt like he had low bl
ood sugar and got a little panicky. And secondly, I'm more
squeamish than I thought I was, although this observation had been based not on tooth extraction but on chicken plucking,
eviscerating, and certain disgusting jobs involving vomit, our dog, and a nest of moles. Watching teeth be extracted really bothered me, but I needed to be there for
Caden, so i breathed deeply and looked out the window.
Caden recovered in no time, however, and his front teeth are already moving as the other two teeth come down. Here's his before and after pictures.

I didn't know that getting teeth pulled could change the size of someone's head! Very cute!!
