Which, I'm not supposed to complain about. We have the lovely river to swim in, which we do, and this nice public library to cool off in. Our 1920's rental does not have air conditioning. All our food is grilled outside - or eaten raw!
Our house is getting nearer to being done. The walls are painted a wonderful light pecan, and the cabinets and flooring are going in. I wasn't all that crazy about the "hurry-up and get it done" just because I have been enjoying the adventure. The heat, however, is making our house smell terrible - redolent of urine and cooked cabbage, with a little rotten potato thrown in for good measure. Now, I'm ready to move on.
One of the things I laughed about lately was Britt loudly declaring that he knew Coco was a girl dog. "Mommy, I know Coco is a girl dog because I looked"- (I froze waiting expectantly for him to finish.) -"at her collar! It is pink!"
Happy Days, and stay cool!

ahhhh Britt. Love it. :)
Welcome back to blogging. I've been thinking about you. I thought I remembered July 26 as a move in date?? It is getting close anyway!! Yahoo!! We drove through Wenatchee last Thurs morning. I looked from the freeway and imagined you in your new house somewhere out there! I'm very excited for you! Maybe we'll get to see it this fall.
hey! It's rebekah. The email addy I have for you is no more. I hope I'm able to reach you this way. Just checking in on the future in-laws... give a buzz if you will. There's a diabetic mom in your area that the school staff here is hoping to get you in touch with. That's what happens with your level of expertise... everyone wants to be your friend. Hugs, Rebekah.
