The Dickey's Next Adventure

Hello Happy Blog Readers. By now, many of you have heard the news. We are moving. Since some of what you may have heard is a partial truth, a misunderstanding, or just a rumor, we agreed to be interviewed by a prestigious magazine. Get your copy at your nearest news stand or just read it while waiting in the check out line.

Enq. "Hi, Dickey's, it's a pleasure to interview you! Tell us, is it true you are moving to Montana?"

Brian: "No."
Ei: "Yes."
Brian: "er, what we mean is No, we aren't moving to Montana."
Ei: "Yes, we are moving. To Wenatchee, Washington."

Enq. "Statistics show that most auto accidents happen within 12 miles of home. Is this why you are moving and would you recommend everyone move to be safer?"

Brian: "Not exactly. Eileen suffers from Seasonal Affective Disorder in the winter months, and has an extreme allergy to the grasses that grow in this area. We hope that more sun and a shorter grass growing season will have her feeling better in no time."

Enq: "Exciting! When will you leave?"

Brian: "I start working for Douglas/Chelan county Nov. 3rd., doing septic stuff. Eileen and the kids will hopefully move over during Christmas break."

Enq. "Is that what you do now?"

Brian "Yes..., although I do a little of all environmental health, food, septic, water lab, solid waste... In Wenatchee I'll just be doing septic."

Enq: "Great. Brian, you said the family would "hopefully" move during Christmas. Are you that hard to live with?"

Brian: "The family moving is contingent on selling the house. We've had lots of interest this first week."
Ei: "He's a saint to live with. He cooks Thai food and mops"
Enq: "You built this house yourselves, correct? Are you sad to leave something you worked so hard on?"
Brian: "We did work hard. We also enjoyed our home while we lived here. The most important part is our family being together, and sharing our home with friends and family. That is what makes our home special. We plan to share our next home with friends and family."

Enq: "What will you miss here in the Pacific Northwest?"

Ei: "The rain."
Kids: "Our friends."
Brian: "A happy wife is a happy home."
Enq: "What are you looking forward to?"

Ei: "No rain."
Kids: "Snow!!! Fruit!! Bike trails!"
Brian: "A happy wife."

Enq. "Thanks for the interview. One last question for your avid followers, Brian, can you tell us one of your Navy Seal Missions?"

Brian: "No. It's classified."
Ei: (rolls eyes)

Enq: "Well, thanks again, and good luck on your adventure! Oh, and why do you have pirate music on your blog?"

Ei: "Er, Sept. 19th was talk like a pirate day. I meant to blog our Pirate party...its coming, check back later."

Enq: "I see. We'll run the interview first week in November. Make sure to check out our article about the lady that gave birth last week to an alien."
