Updating this blog is so hard in the summer! All the yard work and playing 'til the sun goes down does not leave time for blogging, so once again I'm behind. Lets see... yes, the Holmquists have left, and what a grand time we had! Last time you dropped in we had just started working on a swing/slide for the kids and a zip line. These indeed are still in the works with a few technical difficulties - but first this. We shelved the tools and broke out our party hats to celebrate the 4th of July and Britton's birthday. His official birthday is the 24th of June, and since we can do stuff like celebrate a birthday late with a three year old we did. (Not so with Ryland, he's counting down the day... one more to go!) We had hamburgers, corn, potato salad, green salad, and Rhubarb punch. I'll spare you more food photos. Britt loved his gifts, especially a western gun set that Caden bought with
his own money. Afterwards we risked loss of phalanges and set off fireworks and enjoyed sparklers. Britt fell asleep before his birthday ice cream cone.... no problems there, we just decided to have the cones again the next night! 'til next post! ei
